There is much to be liked about Finding Penrose, and it's well written. I thought the imagery and phrasing were very engaging, as well as the literary style. The premise is also interesting, as South Africa is not a setting often explored in historical fiction.
The interesting historical context, along with the strong writing, fits with the pacing and descriptive style of writing. Well done on an engaging story well told!
